Lands Unknown: The Skinless Man

The 2 issue limited series begins on a stormy night in the mountains when a lone traveler is forced to seek shelter in the home of a witch. To pass the time, the witch spins a terrifying yarn about The Skinless Man - a merciless, mythic creature driven by a singular, gruesome obsession: acquiring a new skin at any cost. The narrative follows the Skinless Man as he hunts a gang of warlocks who were foolish enough to try and deceive him. As he pursues those who betrayed him, he leaves a trail of bodies in his wake, fighting through "battle after bloody battle" in a cycle of violence and vengeance. This series serves as an origin story for the character, who first appeared as a background figure in the Bowling with Corpses anthology.
